FUMC’s Famed Thanksgiving Feast Feeds a Full House

First United Methodist Church of Waskom, with Pastor Sherry Crenshaw, jump-started the Thanksgiving holiday, festive season with an open house for the community that brought her congregation out to share their servant’s hearts, fine foods and fellowship.

The First United Methodist Church served another “can’t miss” annual feast, with convenient eat-in and takeout options for this much-anticipated event of the season. The turnout was great, the food and hospitality was praised by all who came.

A traditional Thanksgiving meal was prepared by Pastor Sherry’s, Chairwoman Nora Presley’s labor of love and many others at the FUMC, for this day of great food, fellowship and thanksgiving.

FUMC’s Thanksgiving feast was a day to remember and great start to the holiday season. First United Methodist Church works faithfully to feed seniors in the Waskom area and answering calls to action for needs across the State of Texas, the United States and internationally.
